Running from 8 to 10 October at the T49 Hangar at Polokwane International Airport, the three-day event brings more than 60 exhibitors together from across South Africa.
The fair brings furniture, textiles, décor, art and hospitality under one roof, with businesses from Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape taking part.
A showcase of South African design
The Hotel & Home Design Fair has a strong business-to-business focus, connecting exhibitors with hospitality operators, property developers, architects, interior designers and procurement teams looking for products and services for upcoming projects.
For visitors, it offers a chance to see the people and businesses behind the products, from furniture and textiles to art and décor.
South African fashion and design label MAXHOSA AFRICA will curate the VIP lounge and present pop-up displays during the event, while Zwakala Brewery will add a curated bar experience.
The programme also includes design conversations led by the Design Institute of South Africa, with industry discussions taking place alongside the exhibition.
Putting Limpopo on the design map
For Limpopo, the event is about more than showcasing beautiful objects. It creates a meeting point for local makers, established brands and the people shaping South Africa’s hospitality and interior spaces.
The fair is open daily from 9am to 5pm at the T49 Hangar at Polokwane International Airport.
For travellers passing through Polokwane this week, it offers another reason to look beyond the province’s better-known wildlife and outdoor attractions and see what is being created closer to home.
